Zipf & Co. LLC (“Zipf & Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website zipfco.com (the “Site”) and provides the Zipf Partner System, a licensed partner-led growth framework, along with related research and educational content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, take the Readiness Assessment, contact us, or become a customer, and how we use, share, and protect that information.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Work email address, name, and company information submitted through the Readiness Assessment
- Contact information submitted through any inquiry or contact form
- Billing and payment related information submitted in connection with a license purchase (processed through third party payment and contract platforms, described in Section 4)
- Any information you send us directly by email
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and general location (city or region level)
- Pages visited, time on page, referral source, and general usage patterns
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
We do not knowingly collect financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information directly on the Site. Payment and contract execution are handled through third party platforms with their own security and privacy practices.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver Readiness Assessment results and follow up communication
- Respond to inquiries and process license purchases
- Send newsletter content, research publications, and program updates to subscribers who have opted in
- Improve the Site, our content, and our offerings
- Maintain records required for contract and payment administration

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use your information for purposes unrelated to those listed above without your consent.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function. These currently include:
- DocuSign (or similar e-signature platform), for contract execution
- Google Workspace / Google Sheets, for internal program administration and tracking
- Email and publishing platforms (such as Substack), for newsletter and content delivery
- Payment processors and banking institutions, for ACH and wire transfer processing
- Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics), to track the Site’s traffic
We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zipf & Co. LLC, our customers, or others.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Tracking
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences, understand usage patterns, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain Site functionality.

Readiness Assessment and newsletter contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. Zipf & Co. does not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11.
International visitors: If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. [NOTE: if Zipf & Co. actively markets to or signs customers based in the EU/UK, a GDPR-specific section covering legal basis for processing, data subject rights, and an EU representative should be added. Flag this to me if that becomes the case.]

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
